Selena Gomez dumped her best friend Taylor Swift because she was "bored" of her, leaving many fans wondering if her loss of excitement following her break up with Justin Bieber may have contributed to their split.

"[Selena is] so damn bored with Taylor," an insider told Radar Online.

"She didn't want to bake cookies or paint anymore. She was just so done with it all."

Taylor Swift is allegedly dating "Divergent" star Theo James, the International Business Times reports.

The "Red" album lyrics producer is rumored to be trying to get his attention.

Taylor Swift is attempting to end her fight with Selena Gomez over her relationship with boyfriend Justin Bieber, bringing hope for an end to the feud.

"Taylor has reached out to Selena a couple of times, but Selena isn't ready to be friends with her again. When Taylor heard she was going through a tough time, and stopped following all her friends on Instagram, she called her and emailed her, but Selena is not in the mood," a source told Hollywood Life.

"She feels like Taylor is going to say 'told you so.' But Taylor is truly concerned. There's not much more she can do. It's a two way street and Selena needs to make an effort too."

Taylor Swift is getting "payback" after seeing photos of her friend Selena Gomez with a new group of friends during Coachella, which must have been "hurtful" to the Red songs lyrics producer, Hollywood Life also reports.

The country singer gave her former best friend an ultimatum after finding out she was dating Justin Bieber again.

"Selena feels like [Taylor]'s not as good a friend as she thought, if ending their friendship was so easy for Taylor," an insider source told the site.

"She thinks the way Taylor is dealing with it is very petty."
