Nintendo E3 2014: Video Game Company To Host A ‘Digital Event’ On June 10 [VIDEO]; Super Smash Bros Tournament Invitational Happening At LA

Nintendo announces its plans for the upcoming E3 2014.

The Nintendo will not be hosting a traditional press conference. It can be remembered that Nintendo also skipped a stage presentation during last year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Instead, the Wii U maker presented via the Nintendo Direct, which showed a recorded video featuring new game offerings and related news.

And for the E3 2014, Nintendo is planning to host what the company calls "Digital Event." According to a post Forbes, the Nintendo E3 2014 "Digital Event" will take place on June 10, 5 PM UK Time. The Digital Event from Nintendo this E3 2014 will feature a video presentation, "which will unveil more specific details about Nintendo's plans for its future entertainment experiences coming to Nintendo gaming platforms later this year and after."

This Nintendo E3 2014 announcement was revealed via a recently-released Mega64 video, which also shared that the video game company will host an invitational Smash Bros. tournament during the E3 2014 event in LA. As posted on Polygon, 16 highly skilled Super Smash Bros. players will be invited to a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament for the Super Smash Bros. Invitational, which will take place at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live during E3 2014.

Moreover, fans can try out the Super Smash Bros game at various Best Buy stores in the country during the E3 2014 event, which is scheduled from June 10 to 12.

The post on Digital Trends noted, "It also announced that members of Nintendo of America's secretive Treehouse team will be live-streaming from the floor at E3."
