Macworld 2014 Release Dates: Rumor Claims No iWatch And Apple TV At WWDC Event In June, iOS 8 Expected To Make Its Debut

Macworld 2014 release dates: In just a couple of months, we are already halfway through the year and still we have not seen or heard anything official yet coming out of Apple regarding its upcoming devices.

Fortunately, a couple of weeks back, the Cupertino company announced the date of its annual WWDC event which would be held in its own backyard in California on June 2-6.

While a lot of people are already excited to hear some updates about the iPhone 6, the iWatch, a new Apple TV and even the new iPads, a new report claims that this year's WWDC may become 'boring'.

According to a report by BGR, a website named Re/code got insider news from unnamed sources stating that neither the iWatch nor the new Apple TV would be making their respective debuts at the WWDC event.

This is certainly disappointing to Apple fans who are waiting to see at least one device when Apple takes center stage in June.

So what would be the main focus of the event then?

According to the sources, it would be the iOS 8, which may not be that boring specially given its new features and functions. In the report, the new OS version will get a ton of fitness related features which can run on wearables, most possibly to prepare the market for its iWatch.

In addition, a new version of OS X may be unveiled, and in the report, it would allow users to switch apps back and forth from Macbooks to iPads and iPhones.

As for the iPhone 6 and the rumored iPad Air 2, let us all expect them be unveiled at another event by September.
