Michael Douglas' ex-wife tore into "showy" Catherine Zeta-Jones. Michael Douglas, 69, and Diandra divorced in 2000. They were married for 23 years. Michael Douglas  and Zeta-Jones have two children together, 12-year-old Dylan and 10-year-old Carys.

Diandra Douglas spoke openly about Catherine Zeta-Jones to Britain's Daily Mail, telling the paper "I'm proud to be able to say that I've never turned my private life into show business. Too much public exposure affects children."

Diandra also spoke about her son with Michael. In 2010, 35-year-old Cameron Douglas was sentenced to nine-and-a-half years in prison for selling methamphetamine and heroin possession. Cameron had time tacked on to his sentence after he was able to get drugs in prison.

Diandra reportedly told Spanish newspaper El Mundo: "Putting a drug addict in a jail is like putting a diabetic in a cake shop without treatment. It's horrible that someone with money and famous parents should receive such tough punishment."

Diandra Douglas told Britain's Daily Mail that Catherine Zeta-Jones sold off her private life.

Speaking about Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones selling pictures of their 2000 wedding to magazines, Diandra said "I've never sold photos or kept money from anything and I've always given everything away to charity."

But when the Daily Mail asked Diandra why she was "less visible" at the house than Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, she said "That's because I don't believe in showing off."

Diandra Douglas was asked about a house that she still co-owns with Michael Majorca, Spain, after reported rumors that Zeta-Jones buying into her share.

Diandra said "It's not true. Sometimes people say things without the slightest proof. Why would someone who doesn't speak Spanish or the local Majorcan language or knows nothing about this culture want a house here? She doesn't even come here much."
