"Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers hint of a story revolving a more mature Barden Bellas as the presence of the cast a Justin Timberlake concert triggered speculation of covering songs by the "Sexy Back" singer.

Cast member Ben Platt (Benji Applebaum) revealed "Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers to Teen Vogue when he said that the original Barden Bellas will be back but there would be more characters that will keep the sequel more interesting.

"Pitch Perfect 2 is about the Bellas and what happens to them as they get older. All of your favorite characters are coming back," he said.

As to the new set of characters, Ben Platt said: "Chrissie Fit was great and Hailee Steinfeld is such a pro -- she fit right in. I had no idea she was 17! She's the most mature girl ever. I did most of my scene work with her, which was scary because she was the only one I didn't already know, but we had the best time together."

Meanwhle, the cast of "Pitch Perfect 2" was seen at the Los Angeles leg of Justin Timberlake tour. As reported by Bustle, the cast included Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfield, Kelley Jackle and Elizabeth Banks who all posed for a group photo after the concert.

"This might be some real-life foreshadowing for the movie. In other words: will some of Justin Timberlake's discography be performed in 'Pitch Perfect 2?'" the website wondered. "After all, Timberlake's danceable tunes lend themselves well to acapella. And what could be better than an early-2000's throwback in Pitch Perfect 2?"

However, this remains to be speculation as of now as director Elizabeth Banks and the rest of the cast are very secretive about the song selections that will be used in the sequel. Even "Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers do not say anything about the movie's plot.
