‘Cabaret’ Emma Stone Dating Andrew Garfield 2014: Girlfriend Following In Footsteps Of ‘Amazing Spider-Man 3’ Actor’s Stage Career?

Emma Stone will make her Broadway debut in November when she takes over Michelle Williams' role as Sally Bowles in Roundabout Theatre's Broadway revival of "Cabaret." Is Emma Stone following in the footsteps of her boyfriend and "Amazing Spider-Man 3" actor Andrew Garfield by taking to the stage after years in movies?

Emma Stone will finally have her moment on a Broadway stage - Michelle Williams stepped into the "Cabaret" role as Sally Bowles when Emma Stone had to withdraw "due to scheduling conflicts," ABC News reports.

Williams leaves Nov. 9 and Stone takes over on Nov. 11. Meanwhile, Alan Cumming extended his stay in "Cabaret" until March 29.

While this will be Emma Stone's first time on the big stage, her boyfriend Andrew Garfield has had his time in the theater. The "Amazing Spider-Man 3" actor's most notable role on the Broadway stage was when he played Biff Loman in 2012's "Death of a Salesman" at Ethel Barrymore Theatre. He was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his role. In 2004, he appeared in "Mercy" and "Kess," and in 2005 he was in "The Laramie Project" and "Romeo & Juliet." In 2006, he was in "Beautiful Thing," "Burn/Chatroom/Citizenship," and "The Overwhelming."

Maybe Stone was influenced by Garfield's stage experience was ready to take on the challenge!

As we previously reported, Emma Stone and boyfriend Andrew Garfield were spotted holding hands in New York City, where they share an apartment, in late July. The couple were picking up some things at the healthy shop Organic Avenue, Just Jared reports.

Earlier that week, boyfriend Andrew Garfield accompanied his girlfriend on the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie "Magic In the Moonlight" at the Paris Theater.
