Speculations about Robert Pattinson dating again have been circulating on the web recently as the "Twilight" actor was spotted with British singer FKA Twigs in New York.

While many rumors have been thrown about Robert Pattinson dating one girl or another since splitting up with co-actor Kirsten Stewart, it appears that the hearthrob has completely moved on and has his sights set on a new lady.

According to E! News, Pattinson and Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, were introduced by a mutual friend and have been going out but are "not quite" a couple just yet.

Meanwhile, a source privy to the budding relationship reportedly told The Sun newspaper that "it's the real deal between Rob and Tahliah."

The relationship has reportedly been going on for a month or so and have been affirmed by the surfacing of photos of the two leaving Gemma, an eatery in Bowery Hotel in New York.

"They had been able to keep their relationship secret until recently, but they've already smitten. He's been taking her on dates for the last month or so, and has even flown her out to stay with him in New York. He also loves going to her gigs," the source added.

While a confirmation has not been made regarding rumors about Robert Pattinson dating FKA Twigs, the singer reportedly wants to be known as an individual and a performer and not just somebody's partner. "The main thing for Tahliah is that the relationship remains low key. She wants to be known for her music, not just as 'Robert Pattinson's girlfriend,'" said the source.

FKA Twigs is a British R&B singer who had released her first album called "LP1" just this August 12. According to Billboard magazine, Twigs describes her music as "hi-hat that sounds like you're running into a wall and as you smash into it, it turns into leaves."

While news about Robert Pattinson dating FKA Twigs remain unconfirmed and his relationship status continues to be a mystery, he had finally spoken about his break-up with Stewart, saying: "S**t happens, you know?"
