Dancing With the Stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Jennifer Lopez both insist they are just friends, but since her split with Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy of "Dancing With The Stars" have been making tabloid headlines daily.

Dancing With the Stars' pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Jennifer Lopez dating reports may have been premature. New reports say Jennifer Lopez is dating her cheating ex Casper Smart after her new boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy refuses to commit.

Speaking on the show "Chelsea Handler Lately," Jennifer Lopez reportedly said "I date mostly my age, but then I dated one younger guy... I just go on a connection with a person I don't really plan things out, they just happen. Maybe I need to plan better."

According to reports American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is tired of trying to force her new Dancing with the Stars boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy to commit and went back to dating her first love, Casper Smart, in spite of rumors that he was cheating with Twitter model, Sofia Vissa, who he met on Twitter.

Reports say Lopez's twins love Casper want Jennifer to get back with him. "Max and Emme started throwing tantrums because they missed Casper," says a quoted source.

During the MTV VMAs, Casper Smart told E! News that he is "still friends" with his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez.

Smart was at the MTV VMAs as the choreographer and creative director for the opening medley of Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" and "Bang Bang." Lopez was there to  introduce Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora's "Black Widow" performance.

But the MTV VMAs are the only place the recently separated couple have been seen.

The Daily Mail reported that Jennifer Lopez and her ex Casper Smart were spotted together two months after they split. The pair, who had an amicable split after 2 1/2 years, were spotted in Lopez's  white BMW in Los Angeles.

Chmerkovskiy and Lopez met in November 2013, when they performed together at the American Music Awards. Lopez, whose break-up with dancer Casper Smart was revealed on June 6, had earlier denied that she was dating anyone.J.Lo and Maks shared a dance during Lopez's  tribute to Celia Cruz. At the time Lopez was still going out with her former backup dancer Smart. Maks was dating model Kate Upton. Maks and Kate broke up weeks later. Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy split after six months together. 

Sources say Lopez thinks Maks is more manly and confident than Casper, but Maks "likes his freedom and isn't ready for marriage or for being a stepdad," says a quoted source. "Based on his track record, he won't be a one-woman man anytime soon."
