Reports reveal that Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart are "super tight" after their "healing" relationship following Nicholas Hoult's break up with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence and the constant drama between Kristen Stewart and former flame Robert Pattinson.

"Kristen and Nicholas have really connected with each other on so many levels. They really get each other and their wacky sense of humor. They both basically bonded over pranks and pachinko - a really fun kind of arcade game in Japan," an insider told HollywoodLife.com.

Kristen and Nicholas got close on the set of their new film "Equals," after he privately broke up with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence "months ago." Kristen must have been a good confidante, especially since she's been dealing with her issues with ex boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson for some time now.

The source added that Kristen and Nicholas get along really well, but didn't suggest anything romantic. It's possible that they found solace in each other after a tumultuous year for the young actors - they're both 24.

"He brings out her silly self and they just spend a lot of time laughing together and pulling pranks on the cast and crew members. They've become super tight and it's been healing for both of them to have someone to really lean on," the insider continued.

Watching Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge together only further suggests that these two are closer than ever, but may not be ready to start a new relationship after their recent hurtful breakups just yet.

As we previously reported, at a talk in Tokyo promoting "Equals," Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult dished on their on-set chemistry, the Boston Herald reports.

"I can't stand him," Stewart joked, when asked about her feelings for her co-star.

"It's always a weird position to be put in any film where the director chooses two people and is saying 'Hey, potentially in this world I'm creating you two could fall in love,'" Hoult explained.

"Sometimes [this kind of situation] feels forced and tricky and awkward, but the kind of environment [director Drake Doremus] created was straight forward and easy. Kirsten is a great actress and that just makes it very relaxed and my job very easy," Hoult added.
