Patrick Stump To Be A Father In October! Fall Out Boy Singer Reveals Baby On The Way

It's a baby boom on the Fall Out Boy tour bus these days. The band's lead singer Patrick Stump recently revealed that he and his wife Elise Yao are expecting their first baby.

And with the bundle of joy due in October, it looks like the rock star will be a dad very soon.

In an interview with 102.7 KIIS FM on Wednesday, Stump spilled his baby news and explained why he chose to keep the pregnancy hush hush for the last few months.

"I'm about to have a kid or a tattoo. I'm like the snows of Siberia - just untouched," said Stump. "The band is in a crazy place right now because there's a lot of little kids running around."

In between singles, Fall Out Boy does seem to be producing quite a few children these days. Bassist and lyricist Pete Wentz shares a 5-year-old son, Bronx, with ex-wife Ashlee Simpson, and welcomed another son, Saint Laszlo, with girlfriend Meagen Camper in August. Meanwhile, guitarist Joe Trohman and his wife Marie Wortman Goble welcomed a daughter named Ruby in April.

30-year-old Stump and his wife Elise married in October of 2012 and reportedly live together in Chicago.

When asked if Stump got any advice from bandmate Wentz, the singer joked, "You can never have enough Kleenex and baby wipes."

Wentz seems to have the dad business down. As news of Stump's soon-to-be baby buzzes around the Internet, the bassist expressed his emotional state after sending son Bronx off to his first day of school.

Wentz posted on Twitter:

Bronx’s mother Ashlee Simpson wed Evan Ross, the son of pop music icon Diana Ross, over the weekend. So it’s a wave of new beginnings for everyone within five degrees of separation from the Fall Out Boy camp.
