Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg had quite a beautiful wedding. The newlyweds said 'I do' on Sunday, Aug. 31 in St. Charles, Illinois and have now officially released photos from their big day.

According to Us Weekly, McCarthy's son Evan walked her down the aisle. And the 12-year-old was definitely excited for his big task. "He said to me, 'I have the most important job at the wedding,'" McCarthy told Us. "He was perfect."

Evan, whose father is McCarthy's ex-husband John Asher, also shared a special moment with Wahlberg as the groom helped his new stepson get dressed for the wedding. Wahlberg also has a 21-year-old son, Xavier, and a 13-year-old son, Elijah, with his former wife Kim Fey.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lively reception. The friends and family of the pair were treated to culinary specialties from Chicago and Boston, representing the bride and groom's hometowns, respectively.

McCarthy also revealed on Twitter that each of her guests went home with a silvery white tin of Garrett's popcorn, a famous treat from the Chicago area.

"Thanks @GarrettPopcorn for sharing your #HandcraftedHappiness 2 @DonnieWahlberg & all of our guests on our big day!" wrote the bride.

McCarthy dazzled in a strapless taffeta wedding gown with a dropped waist. He simple yet elegant bouquet of red roses matched the red rose petals that lined the aisle.

The couple's 90 guests later watched as Mr. and Mrs. Wahlberg cut into a gorgeous 6-tiered wedding cake that featured a cascade of red roses as well.

Further into the evening, the couple got down on the dance floor with Wahlberg's NKOTB band mates and McCarthy's former co-host on "The View" Sherri Shepherd.

After the celebration, Wahlberg shared a sweet snap of he and new wife Jenny on Twitter, thanking his fans for their congratulatory messages.

And the "Blue Bloods" actor is certainly enamored with his bride. "I won the lottery," he told Us. McCarthy chimed in too, adding, "We are ready to live happily ever after."
