IU gets paid $10 million. 

Her past songs, "Nagging," and, "A Good Day," and any of her released songs, have all been a big hit. Just last year, she got paid $6 million mid way through the year from sales. On top of her music career, IU's been making money from CFs, dramas, and other events, raising it to a total of $10 million.

As a solo female singer, IU's income is record-breaking.

If all this is true, how is IU budgeting her money? IU has shared before that she leaves all of her finances to her mother's judgment. She said, "My mother tells me where she's going to use the money. She tells me that it's my money so I should at least know where it's going."

Even when she guest starred on "Radio Star," IU shared about the reason for allowing her mother to be in charge. She then explained, "I have to do it for myself one day so I'm learning it little by little right now."
