Fans Go Crazy For New Nick Jonas Single ‘Jealous’: Singer Tweets Love For Gay Supporters

Nick Jonas has just dropped his new single "Jealous," and it has fans all over the Internet swooning.

And with the overwhelming support from the former JoBro's devotees, Nick couldn't help but tweet out love for his loyal gay fans as well.

"JEALOUS IS OUT," Jonas announced on Twitter, early on Monday (Sept. 8).

The new single is the second track to be released from Jonas's upcoming self-titled solo album, which will hit stores on Nov. 11.

Jonas recently opened up to MTV News about the single, explaining that the lyrics are the result of some primal emotions that quite a few people have experience with.

"'Jealous' is a really great representation of the range of [my debut] record and it is an up-tempo song, basically the whole concept is about jealousy," Jonas told MTV. "It's basically saying this girl is so f-ing beautiful that you just get jealous and you can't help it and I think it's something a lot of guys can relate to but are afraid to say."

The catchy chorus of the song certainly projects that possessive attitude:

Cause you're too sexy, beautiful/ And everybody wants a taste/
That's why (that's why)/
I still get jealous.

And it sounds like Jonas has been known to get a little jealous himself.

The singer's girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, revealed on Ryan Seacrest's radio show that Nick has had a flash of the green-eyed monster when it comes to her.

"The first time I ever hung out with Nick there was actually an incident where somebody did make a comment to me," said Culpo. "He had not said a single thing the entire night, except this guy said something to me and Nick turns around red in the face and says, 'What did you just say?' So I was actually not that surprised."

Fans of Nick Jonas have taken to Twitter to show their support for "Jealous."

Thankful for the overwhelming approval, Jonas shared his gratitude on the social media site. He even singled out his gay fans, tweeting:

And his fans won't have to wait too long to "get a taste" of Jonas in person. He recently announced an 11-date tour this fall that will take him to clubs around the country.
