One Direction singer Zayn Malik and his fiancee Perrie Edwards ditched One Direction bandmate Niall Horan's 21st birthday party for a private vacation in Greece, during a break from their "Where We Are" tour in North America.

According to Entertainmentwise, One Direction fans noticed Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards were nowhere to be seen during Niall Horan's 21st birthday party on Saturday night, though Louis Tomlinson and girlfriend Eleanor Calder were in attendance.

Directioners were very curious as to where Zayn and Perrie were enjoying their break together, and now we know they're basking in a private vacation in Greece.

Entertainmentwise reports that according to Twitter claims, Zayn Malik and girlfriend Perrie Edwards are trying to enjoy time away from the media and fans while on a break from the "Where We Are" tour, before Zayn has to fly back to Los Angeles to resume their concerts on September 11.

According to Unreality TV, Zayn Malik "signed an autograph for a fan's aunt who recognised him on Saturday" but "asked her not to mention his presence to anyone, so he could enjoy some privacy."

Looks like she couldn't keep the secret for long...

Zayn and Perrie seem very serious about their private time together - they even missed Niall's birthday party! But we're guessing that the One Direction boys will all celebrate together during Niall's real birthday date on September 13.

This isn't the first time Zayn has missed out on a One Direction singer's event to spend time with his fiancee. In July, Zayn skipped Louis Tomlinson's mother's wedding to go camping with Perrie Edwards and her family.

According to Yahoo! UK, one fan posted on Twitter: "I'm still mad Zayn didn't go to the wedding, you can go camping anytime."

Another added: "So zayn was camping with perrie's family and friends while everyone else was at the wedding? ok zayn, okay."

However, other fans had sympathy for Zayn, who doesn't get to see his girlfriend often after they got engaged because of their crazy schedules.
