Actress Jin Sae Yeon has been chosen to take the place of T-ARA's Eunjung with her role in the SBS drama "Five Fingers."

Yesterday, news about Eunjung's removal from the drama was revealed. Eunjung's side commented, "Just a day before this happened, Eunjung had been practicing the piano and her lines for her part. She found out about this through the news. We did not voluntarily quit the role."

An official commented, "The replacement of Eunjung with Jin Sae Yeon was already planned. The problem was that the producers did not reveal the news in a timely manner." Throughout the news, the producers had always said that they would not remove Eunjung from the drama. However, with the news of her removal, many were shocked and made the situation a bit confusing. After the news leaked, they made an official announcement on behalf of SBS.

Another official commented, "She was supposed to begin filming on August 23 and she had not heard of the news beforehand. She knew there was an emergency meeting on August 21, but she did not hear what happened during that meeting. She tried contacting them but had no luck."

Eunjung's side is still confused as to why this situation has happened. There are many instances where an actor is replaced, but it is rare to see an actor being replaced after they have already attended the press conference. Eunjung was shocked to hear the news because just a day before she had been practicing her lines.

Jin Sae Yeon is in an awkward position as well as she was unexpectedly casted into this drama. She is currently working on her other drama, "Bridal Mask." 

Jin Sae Yeon will begin filming for "Five Fingers" starting today.
