CNBLUE's Lee Jung Shin is the last member to get a shot at an acting career.

He was cast as Kang Sung Jae in the drama "My Daughter So Young," which will first air on September 15 on KBS.

CNBLUE has been known for its prowess on both the music and the acting fronts. Jung Yong Hwa, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jong Hyun had all been cast in big time dramas that garnered a lot of popularity among viewers and this is why they are paying special attention to Lee Jung Shin's debut. It is said that he has always been trying to get more information about dramas from their management company and he showed a lot of ambition when he said, "I've been attending all the script readings and I think they're positively looking at my effort and my improvements."

Kang Sung Jae is the worst in terms of grades at his school but is the best at dressing up and is a big trouble maker. But as he develops a crush on his tutor So Young, played by Lee Bo Young, and begins to find more interest in studying.

Lee Jung Shin said, "There are so many similarities between me and Sung Jae. I was the youngest son but like a daughter, I was very affectionate and I think I will be able to show that to my mother, played by Kim Hye Ock. I tried to get used to sets by visiting my fellow members on theirs. I have been preparing for this opportunity that was given to me."

He added, "All the dramas that my members were in were really successful and it's an incredible honor and experience to be with such amazing actors and I really hope the drama will be popular."

"My Daughter So Young" will portray a daughter who cuts off her relationship with her useless and father, who in turn still loves his daughter and will embrace even her malice and bitterness.
