After the announcement of Hwayoung's dismissal, the members all stayed quiet on the matter. Soyeon did not even attend her drama press conference while Hyomin and Eunjung asked for the reporters to only ask questions regarding the drama and not the crisis. 

However, they suddenly released an apology letter at the same time news of their comeback came out. 

This apology letter came out one month after the crisis began.

Many are suspicious as to why they wrote the letter and revealed it right around the time of their comeback after staying quiet for a month.
