Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon is the latest member to change her hairstyle, cutting her hair to a short blond bob as the group nears their comeback.

Hyoyeon showed off her chic new hairdo on Instagram. She first uploaded a photo which showed that almost half of her long hair had been trimmed to achieve the sleek bob cut.

Despite the drastic change in hair length, fans still complemented Hyoyeon for looking gorgeous with short hair.

"You're really cute with short hair, I like this," "Very pretty new hair unnie," and "Your new hairstyle suits you well~ gorgs <3" said fans on Instagram.

Hyoyeon is the latest among the eight Girls' Generation members to sport new hairstyles and hair colors.

Yuri wowed fans with her long brown hair with bangs while Girls' Generation leader Taeyeon made hearts aflutter with her platinum blond locks.

Similar to Hyoyeon, Sooyoung also opted for a shorter hairstyle but with a darker brown hue.

The rash of hairstyle changes only serves to build up anticipation for the Girls' Generation comeback which is expected to be either in June or July. The group has already released the song "Catch Me If You Can" in Japan and are expected to promote the song as part of their first Korean comeback since 2013.
