After performing with Girls' Generation in the recently held KCON 2015 event in New York, member Sooyoung took the time to explore the neighborhood of Brooklyn on foot.

On August 14, Sooyoung uploaded a bunch of photos which showed her taking a walking tour of the New York City borough.

In one photo, she posed before a sports bar called The Whiskey Brooklyn. She also sat down in one of the cafes, and took photos of street art that can be seen throughout eclectic Brooklyn.

Fans were glad to see Sooyoung taking a break and revealing a slice of life during her visit stateside. They also complimented her laidback but still chic fashion sense.

"Yass Brooklyn represent," "So cool like a boss," "Omg I love her shoes," commented Sooyoung fans on Instagram.

Sooyoung is likely preparing to leave Brooklyn and the United States soon as Girls' Generation looks to drop their fifth album next week in two parts on August 18 and 19.

There are 12 songs to the upcoming album, with the first six songs, including "Party" and one of the album title tracks "Lion Heart," will be released on August 18 at midnight. Meanwhile, the other six songs, including the hard-hitting dance title track "You Think," will be released on August 19 also at midnight.
