The "Captain America: Civil War" trailer will be attached to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
According to Heroic Hollywood, the Russian theater chain Cinema Park claimed that the first trailer of "Captain America: Civil War" will be attached to James Bond's latest outing, "Spectre," when it releases next week. However, HH has since retracted their statement, now that Collider reports that the "Civil War" trailer will, in fact, be released along with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which is likely to happen since both Marvel and Lucasfilm are Disney's properties.
Meanwhile, exclusive footage of the film was screened at this year's D23 Expo, featuring scenes that could also appear in the theatrical trailer.
Screen Rant has published details of the clip; below is an excerpt of the report.
The clip opens with a chase scene that saw Captain America, Black Widow and Falcon attempting to prevent Crossbones from bombing a truck. Crossbones takes off his mask and tells Captain America, "You know, he remembered you. Your Pal, your buddy, your bucky." The footage then cuts to an extended version of the "Ant-Man" post credits scene, in which Bucky has glimpses of his former life.
The movie will feature Chris Evans as Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow, Sebastian Stan as Buck Barnes a.k.a. The Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson a.k.a. Falcon, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes a.k.a. War Machine, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang a.k.a. Ant-Man, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa a.k.a. Black Panther, Paul Bettany as Vision, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye and Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter a.k.a. Agent 13.
