Synopsis/Recap:

Shinoa's company heads out to Ebina, working their way to Nagoya. The trip is haulted however when they run into some Horseman. Mitsuba and Yuichiro make light work of them, but they end up leaving Yuichiro behind when he falls out of the truck.

Meanwhile, Guren and his company search the rendezvous area for vampires. Shinoa and company finally arrive and are immediately scolded for showing up late. Yuichiro takes responsibility for the group being late. Guren maintains he will be punished, as he will not tolerate any more mistakes during this operation.

The punishment ultimately turns into a lesson for Shinoa, in which Guren tries to teach her that she will lose one of her comrades if she doesn't take more authority. Guren warns her that one mistake could cause her to lose any one of her company members.

Guren sets up a match between his and Shinoa's squad. After some maneuvering, Yuichiro and Guren face of one on one. Ultimately, he shows just how much the squad lacks in ability despite their black demon gear.

After Narumi mentions he's uncomfortable letting them go on the battle with them, Guren forces Shinoa's squad to train with Narumi's squad. Yuichiro tries to be friendly but he's a douche. Shinoa apologizes for letting the squad down, but they comfort her and all agree to work harder.

Elsewhere, Mika once again struggles not drink human blood while the vampires capture yet another group of human children. Mika goes off on his own to drink his Krul Tepes store, but it seems to do nothing for him now.
