Red Hot Chili Peppers Ready With Their New Album? Singer Anthony Kiedis Says It Would Be Their Best

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been preparing for their new album the entire year and progress of the record hasn't been disclosed since.

However, a report from Loud Wire and an interview with Rolling Stone with singer Anthony Kiedis revealed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are all ready for their new songs and new album.

He said in an interview that although they have the songs lined up, they wouldn't want to play them live yet since the power of technology could potentially ruin their chance for a surprise in their release.

"The torture about doing this [show] is that we've been writing new music for the last year, and we've written some songs that I feel are as good as any songs we've ever written," he said. "We're just dying to play the new songs - but we can't, because every single human has a recording device on them at all times."

"He's very good about coming up with super-modern ideas, but he'll also touch on the acoustic guitar in the control room and strip the song down to its acoustic essentials, which is a beautiful place to be," he said.

Earlier this year, Flea and Chad Smith hinted that producer Danger Mouse was producing their new album and in the interview, the 53-year-old singer talked about working with him and how he has molded their sound to become exceptional.

"He's very good about coming up with super-modern ideas, but he'll also touch on the acoustic guitar in the control room and strip the song down to its acoustic essentials, which is a beautiful place to be," he said.

Also, drummer Chad Smith talked to Rolling Stone in 2014 and talked about the new album from Red Hot Chili Peppers, which he claimed was a challenge for them.

"And we wrote a bunch of songs that way," the drummer revealed. "And we're now going to try another method that will be really challenging for us and will bring new, exciting results for the band. We've written and recorded in a way that we've never done before, so the record is going great. We all have high hopes that it's going to take off and we're going to do something very different and unique for the Red Hot Chili Peppers."
