Monsta X might be known for their fierce image, but the group wasn't afraid to try preppy campus looks in the November issue of Vogue Girl. The photoshoot was called "Lucky Seven Stars" and it featured turtlenecks, knits, fur coats and point collar shirts by brands like J.W. Anderson, H&M and The Studio K.
During the interview, Minhyuk explained the meaning behind the group's official fan club name 'Mon Bebe.' He stated, "The hidden meaning of our Monsta X team name is 'My Star.' Mon means mine in French, so it's Mon-Sta(r). Mon Bebe, or our baby, was fitting."
The members also compared their childhood upbringing with their current dorm lifestyle.
Kihyun revealed, "I grew up in a strict household, so I'm able to express myself more freely while living with the team."
Jooheon continued, "While singing and dancing in church, I became familiar with music in a very natural way."
When the topic switched to the members' carefree personalities, Minhyuk enthusiastically said, "I want to try being an MC at a music program as soon as possible. It seems like I would learn a lot and become closer with seniors." Then, he addressed the broadcasting companies and jokingly added, "We will do our best so, please, just call."
In other fashion news, Monsta X recently had a colorful transformation in the November issue of The Celebrity.
