'The Flash' Season 2: Who Is Zoom? Henry Allen, Eddie Thawne And Earth-2 Barry Allen Among Favorites!

Finally, Barry Allen and Zoom battle for the first time and the result was not pretty at all. Zoom easily defeated Barry Allen and even dragged him all over Star City to serve as his trophy.

The episode began with Dr. Light escaping from her cell which forced the team to include Linda Park to their plan. She trained with Dr. Light's costume put on and they finally execute the plan.

Unfortunately, Zoom didn't took the bait but instead, he captured Linda Park which triggered their first encounter.

Also, the team finally found out what pushes Harrison Wells to help them thanks to Cisco's Vibe powers and apparently, his daughter, Jesse is held captive by Zoom.

At the end of the episode, Barry finally wakes up as he reveals to Cisco and Caitlyn that he can't feel his legs.

After the episode, fans started to speculate that Zoom is actually Henry Allen from Earth-2. Grant Gustin even acknowledged the theories that it could also be Eddie Thawne or even Earth-2 Barry Allen.

"A lot of people think it's Henry Allen [John Wesley Shipp], some people think It's Eddie Thawne [Rick Cosnett], some people think it's Barry from Earth-Two," Gustin told Entertainment Weekly.

Panabaker seconded the idea and is intrigued with the Barry Allen from Earth-2 theory, "I love the idea of it being Earth-Two Barry Allen. Selfishly, as actors, how fun would it be to get to do both extremes?"

Next episode, Gorilla Grodd will return but how will Flash battle the fearsome Meta-Human? Perhaps, it will be Hawkgirl's time to shine? Here's the summary via Comic Book.

"Grodd returns to Central City and kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Barry (Grant Gustin) and team race to find her before it's too late. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) plans his first date with the new barista at Jitters, Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) begins to suspect Barry is hiding something from her."
