Fast & Furious 8 Movie Casting News: Fast and Furious 8 will debut in U.S. theaters on April 14, 2017. Premiere dates were also set for Brazilian, German, Dutch, British, Norwegian, Swedish, Turkish and Polish showings.

It was announced that Fast And Furious 8 will star Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, but there is also speculation that we will see Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris will also be in the eighth episode of the popular franchise.

According to Master Herald, "Fast and Furious 8" will also feature "Lord of The Rings" star Elijah Wood as Dominic Toretto's illegitimate son.

Further rumors have included "Orange is the New Black" star Ruby Rose, Angelina Jolie and Cara Delevigne.

There were rumors that "Fast and Furious 8," might be directed by Vin Diesel but the eighth episode will be directed by F. Gary Gray, who directed the Samuel L. Jackson - Kevin Spacey-thriller, "The Negotiator," as well "A Man Apart," which starred Diesel, "The Italian Job," "Be Cool," and "Law Abiding Citizen."

Gray's "Straight Outta Compton" focused on the career start of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E and the othter NWA members. Made for $30 million, the film pulled in $200 million worldwide.

The late Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner is expected to make an appearance in "Fast and Furious 8" but rumors say the part might be played by Walker's brother Cody.

MovieNewsGuide reported that rumors about Brian O'Conner's return started when Jordana Brewster's Mia Toretto was rumored to be returning to "Fast and Furious 8."

Cody played Brian O'Conner with the help of CGI after the death of this brother, to finish the film.

"I don't know [if I'd do another film], but it's always dependent on the fans," Jordana Brewster, who plays Mia Toretto- O'Conner told HuffPost Live Interview a months ago.
