Synopsis/Recap:

This week's episode begins with Rem being scolded by father Arlond for his slowness in finding the Grimoire. The other boys of the student council decide that since Rem is occupied, now is the perfect time to look for Ritsuka.

Ritsuka and Azuna do a bit of shopping, only for Ritsuka to be lured away by Rem's dog. Ritsuka is freaked out however when the dog turns into Loewen. It turns out he is Cerberus and that allows him to take the form of a dog. He offers to explain more about the grimoire if she comes with him. Ritsuka lies to Azuna and follows him.

The other members of the student council find Azuna and demand to know where Ritsuka is.

Loewen explains how the grimoire allows the person who holds it to control the world. He then tells Ritsuka that she is the grimoire herself, and that if she allows him to drain her power then the war between devils and vampires will end and her mother will be returned safely.

Lindo manages to save Azuna, but they then realize that nobody knows where Ritsuka is. Loewen tells Ritsuka that the grimoire will activate on her 17th birthday. Rem overhears the conversation, listening in the shadows. Ritsuka is about to give into Loewen, but Rem stops her.

Lindo shows up and begins fighting Rem. He's about to kill Rem, who yells at him for accidentally hurting Ritsuka in his enraged state. Lindo calms down and Rem walks away.

Back at home, Lindo explains to Ritsuka that if she hands over her power she will die. Ritstuka laments her inability to trust anyone around her since they all have lied to her.
