The Nike Air Mag 2015 was initially revealed by shoe designer Tinker Hatfield that the release date of the shoes would come out this year, just in time for the "Back To The Future" day last October.
However, it has been confirmed in a Sneaker Bar Detroit report that the futuristic shoes of Marty McFly would come out by spring of 2016.
In addition to that, the usual very limited supplies of these shoes are also expected.
Mashable revealed that the upcoming release would be as limited as its 2011 counterpart, especially that the 2015 Nike Air Mag release date would feature the power lace feature that mimics the exact pair Marty McFly worn in the movie.
Nice Kicks publisher Matt Halfhill revealed how people could expect a very limited supply in spite of the huge demand of the signature sneakers.
"The anticipation for this release is something that few understand," Halfhill told the source. "I don't even know if everyone at Nike realizes just how much demand there is for this shoe."
In another Sneaker Bar Detroit report, Nike, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Parker talked how they made the shoe seen in "Back To The Future 2" from just a fictional shoe into a futuristic and real version.
"We started creating something for fiction and we turned it into fact, inventing a new technology that will benefit all athletes," Parker said.
"By imagining the future, we create it. Product that comes alive, with on-demand comfort and support when you need, product that senses you and adapts to you is right around the corner."
Official release date of the 2015 Nike Air Mag shoes worn by Marty McFly hasn't been officially announced, but is expected to come out in April 2016.
