MAMA 2015: Psy And CL To Perform New Album Songs During Awards Ceremony

Anyone watching this year's Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA) will be in for a surprise: New songs from two of K-pop's top stars.

Psy of "Gangnam Style"-fame and the K-pop star CL of girl group 2NE1 will reportedly perform new music during the live MAMA ceremony on Dec. 2. Both artists are set to release new music by the end of the year.

The pair recently confirmed their attendance to the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards, along with other YG Entertainment artists.

According to the K-Pop Herald, plans are currently under way and being kept under wraps.

"We just finished our talk with Mnet yesterday," a YG official told a Korean news outlet. "We didn't even go into details which songs to perform and how the show will be directed, yet."

Psy will perform new songs from his upcoming album, which will be released a day before this year's MAMA ceremony is held in Hong Kong.

CL will release her single "Hello Bitches" tomorrow, but YG Entertainment has yet to confirm what she will perform at 2015 MAMA.

Psy, CL, and other YG Entertainment artists will attend the 2015 MAMA ceremony live in Hong Kong on Dec. 2 after previous contention regarding their attendance. YG Entertainment's Big Bang and iKON will also attend the awards show.
