"Star Wars" themed bar makes you feel like you've walked into a different world.
"Star Wars" fans everywhere are celebrating their love for the epic space opera is more ways than one. While Comic-Con was able to feel the full force of "The Force" and its hardcore fanatics, the rest of the fans have been trying to find other ways to welcome the sevent film installment "The Force Awakens."
"For The Love Of The Force" is an independent, fan run convention happening in Manchester, London for all things "Star Wars." As reported by Mashable, they have decided to do something that fans would definitely enjoy.
A "Star Wars" themed bar is one of the highlights of the convention as they've recreated the Mos Eisley Cantina that first appeared in "Episode 4: A New Hope." If these facts are a little confusing, it is the scene where Han Solo first makes an appearance in a bar on the desert planet of Tatooine.
According to the convention's Facebook Page, "The Mos Eisley Cantina is a dimly-lit tavern known for its strong drinks, crazy music, and often outbreaks of violence. Most pilots visiting Tatooine spend their downtime in the cantina, making it an ideal spot to hire a star ship’s crew."
Apart from giving convention goers the opportunity to feel like they are part of "Star Wars" universe, the "Star Wars" themed bar wouldn't be complete without having some of their iconic drinks on the menu. EW reported that the bar will feature a number of alchocolic and non-alchoholic "Cantina Cocktails." Wookie Juice, Princess Punch, Jam Jar Binks and Bantha Milk may sound exotic, but their isn't anything otherworldy other than the names.
However, Bantha Milk, a blue milk cocktail, should tickle any fan's fancy as its the Mos Eisley Cantina favorite.
Apart from the "Star Wars" themed bar, fans will also be able to enjoy Jabba the Hutt's Palace, the Ewok Village, a full-sized 7 meter high Scout Walker and many other "Star Wars" replicas.
Those interested to purchase tickets for "For The Love Of The Force" can only buy for Dec. 4, Friday as tickets for Dec. 5 and 6 are largely sold out.
