Creator Matt Groening said that he would try to get the series picked up by another network, but it looks like it isn't happening any time soon.
Fans would be delighted to know that "Futurama is making its return as a mobile game.
"'Futurama: Game of Drones' takes players on a journey with the Planet Express crew as they fight a desperately imbalanced trade war against longtime shipping rival MomCo," as stated on the Wooga Blog. "While delivering dangerous cargo to hazardous locations under ill-advised circumstances, players connect groups of delivery drones to solve an array of fiendish puzzles as they venture into iconic environments from the Futurama universe."
The game will still have the same flavor the original series had as Patric M. Verrone, a member of the original "Futurama" writing team, has returned to create an original storyline along with Dave Grossman and Jonathon Myers, according to IGN.
