"Persona 5" release date is set for next year, but another event is something fans should look forward to.
With the "Persona 5" release date happening a months from now, fans and gamers are dying to get more details about the game and what can be expected. While the game is still in its finishing stages of development, it is still going to take a while before the game gets to sold in retailers in Japan and North America.
In order to perk up the fans who are patiently waiting for the "Persona 5" release date, Atlus announced a winter promotion that all about the "Persona" franchise, as reported by IGN.
Personal Central translated an article on the Persona Snow Festival 2016. This themed winter event will bring limited and exclusive "Persona-Themed" celebrations to ski parks in Japan. The Atlus D Shop will be selling limited edition winter gear during the event.
A set of ski's based on "Persona 3's" Thanatos will be sold for $527 and a "Persona 4's" Izanagi snowboard will be sold at $439. Hardcore fans who will be availing these items at the event will not only get exclusive merchandise but they will also have the proof. They will be engraved with a unique serial number to ensure those that buy them that they have purchased an original "Persona" merchandise.
There will also be special tours at the Ryuoo Ski Park that will be "Persona 3-Themed" and the Meiho Ski Resort that will be "Persona 4 Golden-Themed"
There is no official announcement on the "Persona 5" release date, Atlus may announce this in the months building up to its expected in the first half of 2016.
"Persona 5" is a role-playing video game by Atlus where players live out a year of a high school boy who suddenly gains the ability to summot the different facets of his psyche known as Personas. The battle gameplay follows a turn-based attack system where characters can use two different weapon types and both their Personas during a fight.
The protagonist is a 16-year old highschool transferee who finds friendship in fellow misfits and form a group called the "Phantom Thieves of Hearts." This band of five different individuals work together to carry out heist missions and also deal with mysterious events they encounter along the way.
