Synopsis/Recap:
This week's episode begins with Genos facing off against the Sea King. After seemingly winning, the Sea King knocks him down. The Hero Organization decides to call in Saitama.
Genos tries to save the remaining hostages, but the Deep Sea King is just too strong. Genos is almost melted into nothingness when he protects a little girl who cheers for him. Mumen Rider finally arrives on the scene. The Deep Sea King rips his arm off and tosses him aside.
Mumen Rider knows he can't win, but keeps fighting anyway. The crowd begins to cheer for Mumen Rider, but it is futile. Saitama catches Mumen Rider as he falls and congratulates him. He turns his sights on Sea King.
As usual, Saitama takes Sea King down in one punch. Later, Speed-o-Sound Sonic returns with his weapons, obviously too late. Genos and Saitama do the grocery shopping and arrive home to some fan mail. Well, someone has sent some hate mail to Saitama, accusing him of being a fraud.
It would seem that there was much discussion about powers and abilities after the fight with the Deep Sea King happened. One guy specifically thought the heroes have a job to do since the people are paying for the hero organization. Then Saitama disrupts the argument, pointing out that everyone should know he was the one who beat Deep Sea King, even though the other heroes wore him down first.
Saitama basically admits that he's a cheat so that everyone can respect the fallen heroes. Saitama does receive one piece of fanmail, and manages to become the number one hero in the Class-C rank. Saitama must endure an interview to rise to Class-B.
Saitama manages to get the Class-B ranking. Saitama runs into Mumen Rider at a street food place. Mumen Rider offers to buy him a plate. It would appear he's the one who sent Saitama the thank you/fan letter.
