Park Yoo Hwan Tells Marie Claire His Older Brother Yoochun Inspired His Acting Career

She Was Pretty actor Park Yoo Hwan, who is also the brother of JYJ's Yoochun, starred in "Pretty Man" for the December issue of Marie Claire.

The rising star modeled plaid coats, turtlenecks, wool pants and sneakers by brands like UNIQLO and Solid Homme. Park did a variety of contemplative expressions to show a more mature side.

During the interview, Park revealed the moment that he decided to pursue an acting career. He stated, "It happened when I was around twenty years old. The things you want can surface clearly any day. It was the sight of Yoochun practicing his acting that made me want to be an actor. I learned the fundamentals steadily from that day on and I started working by making appearances with minor roles gradually."

When asked if he felt "burdened" by his brother's fame, the star responded, "I don't at all. We are family. I cannot feel burdened by the presence of family. Since I was a child and before I became an actor, the attention of the public has been abundant. Even after I became an adult and started doing what I like, I haven't felt uncomfortable at all."

He added, "I think I have to work hard and do my best so I don't cause harm to my older brother. I want to climb up each step slowly as actor Park Yoo Hwan, as I have until now, rather than become popular in one swoop."
