Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are definitely eyeing Oscar 2016 and they each have great movies to support their bidding. With "The Danish Girl" and "Macbeth", the Hollywood's power couple is showing the world that Oscar 2015 is theirs.
According to Reuters, Michael Fassbender gave a juicy interview to attract attention for his Oscar 2016 committee. He said, "It's definitely daunting because the work is so excellent you feel a responsibility to it and you don't want to make a shambles of it."
Alicia Vikander, his girlfriend, has also been giving fascinating interviews after the release of "The Danish Girl", her and Eddie Redmayne's performance gaining critical reviews as the movie gains traction for Oscar 2016. According to the Wrap, the 27-year-old actress said, "I'm scared of overexposure, but really I'm just feeling very happy about the work I've done with people I admire. Finally, we can let the films out there and see them alive."
Because of their success, Alicia Vikander and her boyfriend Michael Fassbender are definitely not getting enough time together. With their film "Macbeth" and "The Danish Girl" out in cinemas right now, they are busier than ever gunning for Oscar 2016.
According to Just Jared, "Marion Cotillard and Michael Fassbender pose for a photo together at a special screening of their film Macbeth held at Ham Yard Hotel on Sunday (November 15) in London, England. The 40-year-old actress and 38-year-old actor star in the film as husband and wife - the film will hit theaters on December 4."
"The Danish Girl" actress has been getting too busy to pay attention to rumors though. In fact, she may have been selected as the next "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", which means that her relationship with Michael Fassbender may be put on hold. Seeing the amount of buzz that Rooney Mara got for her role as "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", this means that Alicia Vikander is about to make it big in Hollywood.
But so far Michael and Alicia are rumored to be still going steady despite the fact that they are releasing a movie every week.
