Former "The Voice" coach Gwen Stefani reveals that she is up to release a new album soon and claimed that the record may include songs about break up.
As stated in a recent report by US Magazine, the No Doubt singer revealed in a radio interview with San Diego's 93.3 that her record would definitely contain sad-themed songs dealing with heartbreaks.
"I would consider it a breakup record," Gwen Stefani said of her new album. "My cross to bear was to go through these heartbreaks and write songs and help people."
Furthermore, Stefani also revealed in another interview with Ryan Seacrest how excited she is for the new album and how different the sound and feel is compared to her past releases.
"I've been working on it," Gwen said. "I feel excited now because when I first started working on it, I was like, 'I'm gonna put it out this year!' I was very kind of rushed about it. Now I feel settled in, I had the baby - he's going to be a year-old, can you believe that?! - I feel like now I'm going to go back in and do some more writing and be a little more relaxed about it."
With a busy schedule, Gwen Stefani revealed that her new album is slowly progressing.
"I decided to slow down a little bit, and now I've got this [live] show I've been working on, which is forcing me to go back and listen to my old songs that I've never listened to in so long," Gwen Stefani said. "But it's been super inspiring, because now it's like I'm in competition with myself, like, "How did I do that? I wish I could do that again."
The new album from Gwen Stefani may be released next year but there are no official reports up to now.
