Britney Spears To Headline Super Bowl 2016 With Taylor Swift? Pop Singer Shows Off Killer Abs

If rumors pan out, there is a possibility that Britney Spears could be performing live in next year's Super Bowl.

This was learned exclusively by Hollywood Life who revealed that the "Princess of Pop" might be sharing the stage with Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars in the halftime show of Super Bowl 2016.

"The NFL would rather have multiple acts over one main act for the Super Bowl halftime show," an NFL insider told HollywoodLife.com.

"They know they are running out of people to do it so they want to make this year a bigger deal with a host of different acts instead of one, especially since it's the 50th Super Bowl," the insider added, hinting at the chance of Britney Spears appearing at the show.

The "Just The Way You Are" singer was reportedly offered to curate the halftime show of American football's biggest event, which could also see the inclusion of the two popular female singers.

"That is why they have asked Britney, Taylor, Bruno and others to make it a once in a lifetime performance," the insider added. "They want to give their fans as much entertainment as possible."

The "Baby One More Time" vocalist and the Grammy-award winning country artist were reportedly invited to headline Super Bowl 2016 before the "Grenade" vocalist was said to be offered the gig.

In the meantime, a recent Instagram photo shared by Britney Spears showed that she is looking hotter than ever, as she prepares for her rumored Super Bowl appearance next year, according to People.

The 33-year-old singer captioned her photo, "Long day recording ... now it's facial time!," as the 34-year-old mom showed off her perfectly toned abs.

When asked about her fitness secrets, the "Oops I Did It Again" singer said, "I listen to a lot of Usher, Pink and Katy Perry when I work out," adding, "They're so inspiring!"

Britney Spears is definitely on the right track with her current health regimen which should make her a shoo in for Super Bowl 2016.
