Once again the past 24 hours have brought some interesting changes to our end-of-the-year awards poll rankings.
In the category of "Best K-Pop Song of the Year," 2PM's "My House" remains on top with 37.25% of the votes. However label-mate GOT7's "Just Right" managed to overtake BTS' "I Need U," claiming 19.34% of the votes while "I Need U" comes in with 18.88%.
Super Junior's "Magic" continues to claim the #4 position with 6.21% of the votes while SHINee's "View" holds steady in fifth with 3.55%. INFINITE's "Bad" remains in sixth with 1.74% of the votes while EXO's "Love Me Right" manages to hold on to seventh with 1.67%. However, VIXX's "Love Equation" is steadily climbing the charts, moving into eighth with 1.61% of the votes which means a mere 0.06% stands between our current 7th and 8th place holders. With such a minuscule percentage of votes separating the two, one has to wonder, will "Love Equation" continue it's daily climb up the rankings? Of course that question can only be answered by your votes.
Rounding out the Top Ten, Big Bang's "Bang Bang Bang" drops to ninth with 1.54% of the votes, while Jung Yong Hwa's "One Fine Day" comes in tenth with 1.35%. Though not in the Top Ten, it should be noted that Teen Top's "ah-ah" has been receiving a steady number of votes each day and currently holds 1% of the votes, bringing them in at 11th. With merely 0.35% standing between "ah-ah" and "One Fine Day" could we see a new face in the Top Ten soon? Again, the answer to that question relies solely on your votes so vote often!
In the category of "Best K-Pop Group of the Year," GOT7 is tightening their hold on first, coming in with 34.5% of the votes while second place holder, TVXQ, comes in with 32.01%. 2PM holds steady in third with 18.56% of the votes while BTS remains comfortably in fourth with 6.41%.
SHINee continues to hold onto fifth with 1.65% of the votes, but the margin between them and sixth place VIXX, who comes in with 0.94% of the votes, is steadily dwindling. FT Island makes the biggest move in this category, jumping two places to claim #7 with 0.76% of the votes. With FT Island moving up, Big Bang has dropped into eighth with 0.73% of the votes while CNBLUE falls to ninth with 0.69% and INFINITE remains in tenth with 0.65%. However, Shinhwa seems to be making a play for a position in the Top Ten as they currently sit at eleventh with 0.6% of the votes. With 0.05% standing between Shinhwa as a spot in the Top Ten, it seems reasonable to ask, could they overtake INFINITE and secure the #10 spot? Anything's possible!
Not much has changed in the category of "Best K-Pop Artist," as TVXQ's U-Know Yunho comes in with 27.49% of the votes, giving him a sizable lead over the competition. Band-mate Max Changmin holds onto second with 11.17% of the votes while 2PM's Nickhun holds stead in third with 9.78%. GOT7's BamBam continues to increase his number of votes however, with 7.18% he still has his work cut out for him, if he's to leave his currently #4 ranking and make an appearance in the Top Three.
Meanwhile 2PM's Wooyoung holds steady in fifth with 5.59% of the votes, GOT7's Jackson remains in sixth with 4.36% while 2PM's remaining members round out the Top Ten. Coming in with 4.15% of the votes Junho holds seventh, Taecyeon stays strong in eighth with 3.13%, Jun.K brings in 2.97% of the votes, giving him a slight lead over Chansung who comes in tenth with 2.37%.
The results in the category of "Best K-Pop Rookie Group" haven't changed much over the past 24 hours. TWICE continues to dominate the category, bringing in 39.39% of the votes. SEVENTEEN continues to hold onto second with 18.84% however, with 18.32% of the votes going to DAY6, could we possibly see an upset within the Top Three?
Comfortably settled in fourth, MonstaX bring in 7.01% of the vote while iKON remains in fifth with 4.97%. With 4.51% of the votes going to UP10TION, a mere 0.46% stands between them and iKON, which again makes one wonder, could we see an upset in the near future?
N.Flying continues to hold steady in seventh with 2.61% of the votes, while G-Friend remains in eighth with 2.23%. With 1.11% of the votes, Oh My Girl remains in ninth while CLC closes out the Top Ten with 1.05%.
If there's one things we've learned over the past 24 hours it's that every vote makes a difference. With mere fraction of a percent separating one rank from another, every vote counts so be sure to come back every day to cast your vote for all your favorite artists, groups and songs!
