Sorry "Pokemon" fans but it is highly unlikely that the release date of "Pokemon GO" and "Pokemon Z" will be known by December.
This, according to Movie Pilot, which debunked speculations that the scheduled roll-out of the two highly-anticipated "Pokemon" games will be announced within this month.
Describing the anticipated release of "Pokemon GO" and "Pokemon Z" as "a circle jerk of unfounded rumors," the site noted that this theory was based on an anticipated announcement to be made in the December issues of Coro Coro magazine.
"...the idea that they could release within the next two weeks with absolutely no prior warning is ridiculous," Movie Pilot said, which made the rumored release date of "Pokemon GO and "Pokemon Z" a remote possibility.
The site pointed out that "there's never been a gap between announcement and release of less than five months," taking into account the fourth and fifth generation releases for the Nintendo DS and 3DS.
As for the sixth generation of "Pokemon" titles such as "Pokemon X," the game was announced on Jan. 8, 2013 and was released on Oct. 12, 2013, which had a gap of 9 months and 4 days.
"The idea that Nintendo would just pop out a 'Pokémon' game with no prior warning a matter of weeks before Christmas is ludicrous, so let's stop buying into that shall we?" Movie Pilot said.
As fans eagerly await the official release date of "Pokemon GO" and "Pokemon Z," they will be excited to know that the first fire and water type "Pokemon" has been revealed via the game's official site, reported Game Spot.
"It uses fire and water to create steam within its body, expelling explosive shock waves and boiling steam from the arms on its back," according to the character's official description.
"The power is said to be great enough to blow away an entire mountain, gouging out the earth and changing the shape of the land," the description added.
Though Volcanion still can't be encountered during regular gameplay, it is hoped that it will be among the characters included in the "Pokemon GO and "Pokemon Z" whose release date still remains a big mystery.
