Members of The Rolling Stones are reportedly ready to release a new album, after they have confirmed that they would be working on it right after their tour.
Guitarist Ronnie Wood even revealed in an interview reported by The Toronto Sun that they had plans to start working on the upcoming record in December.
Wood talked to ABC Radio and revealed their upcoming plans.
"We'll maybe go in the studio in December and cut a few tracks and see what happens," he said. "We'll take it from there, see how it all goes. One thing at a time."
Meanwhile, frontman Mick Jagger revealed how he has a few songs lined up for the band to record after he was interviewed by Ultimate Classic Rock.
"I've got a lot of new songs, and songs I've written over the last couple of years," Jagger said, describing the new Rolling Stones album. "I've done really good demos for all of them, which I would love to record. I'd love to record a Stones album."
On the other hand, Keith Richards recently talked to Entertainment Weekly and talked about the band's plans for a tour and how they plan to work on the record while doing the shows on the road.
"After we do South America in February and March [2016], I'd love to get in the studio in April," Richards explained about the progress of the new album from The Rolling Stones. "But I know what those guys are like. When they finish a tour, they don't want to do nothing!"
"I'm trying to get the Stones into the studio," he said about the new album from The Rolling Stones. "But I don't quite honestly see it happening this year."
The new album from The Rolling Stones may be released late 2016.
