Jr. of male idol group GOT7 has been cast in the upcoming movie "Snow Flurries."
According to various movie insiders on Dec. 21, Jr. (Park Jin Young) was selected and will begin filming for the movie soon.
Junior has previously demonstrated his knack for acting on KBS 2TV's popular idol-filled "Dream High 2," the dramatic MBC romance "When A Man Falls In Love," and the JTBC melodrama "Beloved Eun-Dong."
Now the 21-year-old idol group member is preparing for his first role on the silver screen.
"Snow Flurries" is being produced by the same company that created such hits as "Architecture 101," "Joint Security Area," and other recent hit movies.
"Snow Flurries" takes place in a small town in the countryside where school violence is prevalent and tells the story of two middle school students who are both outcasts.
After a year of pre-production preparation, the movie is set to begin filming at the end of December 2015.
