4Minute will make their return to the stage as a group in Jan. 2016.
According to music industry insiders on Dec. 25, 4Minute is working hard on their upcoming album so they can finish and release it in January.
For the album, they worked with world-famous DJ and producer Skrillex, who entered the electronic music scene in 2010.
On Dec. 19, news spread that 4Minute had worked with Skrillex at the Cube Entertainment studio in Seoul.
The album will include songs that were jointly created by Skrillex and 4Minute.
Another insider informed Korean media outlet Star News that, "They are carefully deciding which track to use as their title song."
Although the comeback date is set for January, the exact day has not been set. "We are still adjusting the exact release date."
This is the group's first comeback in 11 months; their last album release was with "Crazy" in Feb. 2014. During that timeframe, rapper HyunA released her 4th mini album "A+."
