After an intense series of new K-pop releases during the second half of 2015, it looks like many artists are already ready to kick off their 2016. January already boasts a number of comebacks to watch out for, which begs the question who will come out on top? Here's what fans have to look forward to from the male artists this January!
T.O.P Media's star boy group Teen Top teased a January comeback on Christmas Eve. In addition to mentioning their January comeback they even showed off a section of their new choreography on Naver's V app according to Korea Herald. The group also revealed a teaser image late Tuesday night showing off a charismatic and chic image along with the title of their next album Red Point.
Since the new style seems so opposite to Teen Top's fun and energetic retro summer track "Ah-ah," fans can't wait to hear what Teen Top will bust out for the start of the year. Teen Top's versatile nature is leaving us guessing for their upcoming return but we can't wait to see what they bring. Get excited for Teen Top by watching their last release below:
YG Entertainment's WINNER have set the bar high for January comebacks as well. Making their official debut in August 2014, WINNER proved to be a rookie force to be reckoned with taking over Korean, Japanese, and Billboard's World charts. Not much has been seen of the five member boy group since their debut but fans have been holding their breath waiting for their first comeback.
WINNER dominated with their heart-wrenching ballads "Color Ring" and "Empty" and even showcased members Mino and Taehyun with very unique solos. Although we aren't expecting as much of an enthralling dance from WINNER as we are with Teen Top, we know their vocals are undoubtedly going to impress. Fans of WINNER only have to wait a few more days for the boys' comeback on January 11. Until then, re-watch WINNER's debut below:
Not feeling the idols groups? Soloist K.Will has also dropped a sweet single on January 6 featuring the female power vocal duo Davichi. K. Will and Davichi's perfect vocal chemistry create the perfect song to warm you up during the winter. Check you "You call it Romance" below:
