YB's Yoon Do Hyun Heads To New Zealand For Acoustic Concert Next Month

One of South Korea's best rockers will be traveling to New Zealand and hold his first acoustic concert.

Yoon Do Hyun of the rock band YB, along with lead guitarist Heo Joon, will perform at Bruce Mason Center in Auckland on Feb. 26 and at Isaac Theater Royal in Christchurch Feb. 28.

According to a news release by concert organizer, G T Entertainment, Yoon is going to play old favorites and share his story and passion for music with the audience.

All proceeds from the concert will be donated to Autism New Zealand. Ticket prices will range from $70 to $250. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster's official website and at Ticketek's website.

This is not the first time that Yoon has performed in New Zealand, the rocker toured the country back in 2004.

Yoon Do Hyun is the founder and lead vocalist of YB (formerly known as Yoon Do Hyun Band) since 1996. Yoon is known for being an MC for TV variety programs, such as Yoon Do-hyun's Love Letter.

As a solo artist, Yoon has released two albums and three EP's, including Difference (2005), Harmony (2009), and Singing Yoon Do-hyun (2014).

YB consists Yoon Do Hyun, Heojun, Kim Jin Won, Park Tae Hee, and Scott Hellowell. The band celebrated their 20th anniversary Oct. 15 - 18 with a special concert at the LG Arts Center in southern Seoul, South Korea. Title of their concert was 20-Year-Old.
