A popular hip-hop artist is teaming up with one of K-pop's most acclaimed vocalists for his next single.
On Friday, Korean singer-songwriter Crush will release his latest single, "Don't Forget" featuring Taeyeon of Girls' Generation. The collaboration between the pair, both of whom had some of the most popular songs of 2015, is raising expectations.
"Don't Forget" is Crush's first release in around six months, since his last song, "Oasis."
Early in 2015, Crush's collaborative track with Zion.T, "Just," topped charts in South Korea, launching the two hip-hop artists to stardom overnight.
Taeyeon, already known for her vocal skills, released her first solo EP, "I," last year. Following its release, the title track "I" garnered major attention, and Taeyeon took home major accolades for the song.
Last week, Crush announced his return to the Korean music scene. On Wednesday, the singer released a digitally in South Korea on Friday at 12PM KST.
