Following a stage accident that happened on Sunday, Jan. 24, hip hop artists Beenzino (Lim Sungbin), Dok2 (Lee Joon Kyung), and The Quiet (Shin Dong Gab) apologized to fans.
Celebrating the fifth anniversary of their label Illionaire Records that same day, some stage equipment fell before the artists took the stage for their encore performance. Fortunately, no injury was reported.
With no encore performance taking place, the label offered fans a chance to shake hands and meet Beenzino, Dok2, and The Quiett.
Following the event, each rapper took it to social media to thank and apologize to fans.
"Thank you everyone who came to the concert in Busan," Beenzino wrote, as reported by K-Pop Herald. "I’d like to apologize for not being able to continue with our show due to the accident. But our fans cheered us in the hand-shaking event that followed. I will never forget it. We will come back soon."
Dok2, apologized through his personal Instagram about the sudden change from encore performance to hand-shaking event.
"Please tolerate the sudden change of program tonight, from encore performance to hand-shaking event," wrote Dok2, on Instagram. "I’m glad no one was hurt. I wish all fans a safe trip back home. Thank you all."
The Quiett promised fans that the hip hop trio will return again, and hold a better concert with no stage equipment falling on the ground.
"I would like to apologize for not performing the encore," wrote The Quiett, on Instagram. "We would like to promise you a better performance next time."
Holding their words, it seems like Illionaire will be back with an even bigger and better show for their fans and followers to attend.
