The music video teaser for 4Minute's title track off their Act. 7 EP, "Hate," was uploaded on the group's official YouTube channel on Jan. 29.
The teaser shows slow, solo shots of each of the five members in different backgrounds and settings as the song plays in the background.
A longer audio teaser for "Hate" and the other songs on the album were released the day before. From the audio teaser, it seems like "Hate" will be a slow ballad, much different than the group's last upbeat title track "Crazy."
The lyrics released in the audio teaser reveal that the song is about an emotional breakup as the lyrics translate saying, "Go, go, look at what you have here./Get out, get out, turn around and go./There's a lot of hate left at the end of this love."
As this is only considered a teaser, anything can happen within the song beyond what the audio previewed. It is only a matter of time until "Hate" gets released.
"Act. 7" is scheduled for release in the morning KST on Feb. 1 containing a total of five tracks with multiple songs were produced in collaboration with North American EDM/dubstep DJ Skrillex.
