Wonder Girls Hint At Comeback

Congratulations, Wonder Girls!

On Wednesday, the K-pop girl group held an event via Naver's live streaming app, V, and celebrated their ninth anniversary with their fans. During the Wonder Girls' ninth anniversary event, the members discussed their time together and also revealed they were working on a new album.

"We are diligently preparing an album right now," said Yubin towards the end of the event. "So please wait just a bit longer."

During the event, Yubin addressed a fan's question about why she wasn't uploading music to her Soundcloud account anymore by bringing up the album, promising that they will surprise fans.

"I can't offer any spoilers," she teased.

While the group's agency, JYP Entertainment, hasn't confirmed anything about Wonder Girls' ninth anniversary comeback release, JYP Entertainment was recently linked to American talk show host Conan O'Brien.

O'Brien and JYP are reportedly working on something while the comedian visits Korea next week, but neither side has revealed what sort of collaboration it will be which has led to speculation that Conan O'Brien may make a cameo in an upcoming Wonder Girls video.

Wonder Girls debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2007 with the song "Irony." Hit songs like "Nobody," "Tell Me," and "I Feel You" have launched the girl group to international popularity.
