CUBE Entertainment act CLC have decided to shift things around before officially entering the Japanese market next month.
Recently adding two new CLC members, the girl group is preparing to make their Japanese debut with Seungyeon taking over as the official leader.
Announcement of the leadership change was made through radio show Sukira.
According to allkpop, the group will promote a Japanese language version of their latest single "High Heels" as the title track to a new album in Japan on April 13.
In addition to the Japanese version of "High Heels," other hits by CLC such as "First Love," "Pepe," and "Like" are reported to be getting fitted with Japanese lyrics. A cover of Kylie Minogue's "I Should Be So Lucky" is also rumored to be included on the album.
To warm up into their Japanese promotions, the members of CLC were featured on the reality program Beautiful Mission on Mar. 7 as the first Koreans to appear on the Kawaii-an TV program.
CLC's third EP Refresh has also recently made its way to Spotify for free streaming.
