Huawei Launches Tablet-Laptop Hybrids: Will Their Newly Launched Product MateBook Increase The Turnover Of The Company?

Huawei is the third-largest smartphone maker and they have been coming up with some innovative products in the last few years which have been phenomenal. They have now ventured into the Tablet-Laptop hybrids market and the new MateBook is expected to take the market by storm.

As per Wall Street Journal, this Chinese networking firm now is venturing into the consumer electronics sector and is expected to give a tough competition to its rivals. This handy gadget is a 2-in-1 detachable tablet and as per CRN will give a tough competition to Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It was launched on Feb. 21, 2016. Huawei chose the occasion of the eve of the opening of the Mobile World Congress to launch this innovative product.

Their previously launched product MediaPad T1 7.0 was appreciated by the users and one can safely assume that this product too will capture the market-share soon.

CRN talked about this gadget in details. ''Huawei at Mobile World Congress threw its hat into the ring with its first-ever 12-inch convertible tablet, the Windows 10-powered MateBook. Shenzhen, China-based Huawei, which recently also released the Nexus 6P smartphone, touted the MateBook as "the new style of business."

Since the market of convertible PCs is growing by leaps and bounds, Huawei's move is speculated as a smart one by the gadget gurus. A keyboard cover smartly converts this hybrid gadget from a tablet to a useful laptop.

MateBook has a 2,160-by-1,440-pixel resolution. The official website mentioned that the weight of the product is about 640g. Engadget mentioned that this product is unique. ''Huawei boasts that the MateBook is the lightest 12-inch tablet on the market, weighing in at 1.4 pounds. It's also an impressive 6.9 millimeters (.27 inch) thin. Its 12-inch display packs in a 2,160 x 1,440 resolution, which is plenty sharp, though not nearly as sharp as the iPad Pro (2,732 x 2,048) or the Surface Pro 4 (2,736 x 1,824). Huawei also claims its battery will last around 10 hours with regular usage.''

There are three options available in terms of storage- 128-GB, 256-GB and 512-GB SSD. It contains sixth-generation Intel processors (Intel Core m3, m5 and m7 processors) making it a thin and light-weight gadget.
