Golden State Warriors Will Be A Dynasty And Owner Joe Lacob Wants The NBA To Know That

There is no denying that the Golden State Warriors are poised to win back-to-back titles as they currently hold the best record, 68-7 as of writing and it looks like this will go on for a long time, according to majority owner Joe Lacob.

The Warriors have laid waste on every NBA team they have faced so far, thanks to Stephen Curry's leadership which will probably lead to another NBA MVP award. Not only that, their roster is so balanced that it is very unpredictable who will step up on a given night, said the owner.

"We've crushed them on the basketball court, and we're going to for years because of the way we've built this team," Lacob told Bruce Schoenfeld of the New York Times in an interview. "We're light-years ahead of probably every other team in structure, in planning, in how we're going to go about things."

"It's not just Steph Curry," Lacob added. "It's architecting a team, a style of play, the way they all play together. It's all extremely thought through."

It is hard to contest his statement as the only team equipped to compete against the Dubs are the San Antonio Spurs. Lacob also stated that this team was built not by accident, he implied that his business acumen was also a key part to the team's success.

"The great, great venture capitalists who built company after company, that's not an accident," he said. "And none of this is an accident, either."

Looking at the Warrior's current core, the reigning MVP is just in his prime at 28 years old, while sharpshooter Klay Thompson and Mr. all-around Draymond Green both just turned 26.

"We're going to be a handful for the rest of the NBA to deal with for a long time," Lacob said.
